YAY!!! Let's ban it!!!
At least, that fuking T Boone Pickens can't make another billion $$$ from it, like he's been planning for the last few years by locking up all the dihydrogen monoxide rights under the southwest.

I'd really like to see these guys do the same thing on the steps of the US Capital building. Wonder if Pelosi or Boehner would sign?

Those who can't watch the video...

It shows how gullible and senseless people are, to sign a petition banning the "largest greenhouse gas".

Pretty funny and pretty sad, all at the same time!

**For those interested, my avatar is the American Civil flag. It is the REAL American flag and it is the one we as civilian Americans should be flying. The flag we know of as the American flag is actually the military flag. Read more at [link to www.barefootsworld.net] **

"Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men's views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the U.S., in the field of commerce and manufacturing, are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it." - Former President Woodrow Wilson

Re: Climate change summit attendees sign petition to ban “dihydrogen monoxide”
many years ago my son was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune blood disorder that causes holes to form in his cell membranes.

during the year prior to diagnoses--as i tried to convince his pediatrician that something was amiss--one of his classmate's mothers, with whom i had become friendly, kept telling me about the medical problems of 'her theresa,' convinced that she was onto something. she was telling me not to let him eat apples, because one of theresa's doctors had told her of a chemical used on them that was causing a life-threatening blood disorder in children.

i really did not pay much attention.

within 18 months i was dragging this 10 year old back to the doctor to show him the now 48 black and blue marks he had from the waist up. stat blood test alarmed the doc, who immediately sent him to a special children's blood and cancer disease center at NYU in NYC.

as strange as it may sound, my son's new doctor turned out to be theresa's doctor. the two kids had similar disorders, although my son's was a different isotype or something and has proved to be almost fatal a number of times.

of course, theresa's mom reiterated her apple story, which i soon started researching. it lead me to purge many food items from our diet as i opted for whatever organics i could afford, yet, the damage to his immune system remains.

this better, purer diet has kept us healthy--a godsend, since we have no health insurance!
--------

when reading the link on this post, i noticed that produce and cell membrane damage was on the list; this is something i am just reading about on this thread for the first time.

thanks for posting it.

GO ORGANIC
