GirlGenius User ID: 1133676 United States 12/11/2010 11:44 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | That reminds me of a bad trip I had when I was a kid and took a double-dose of sunshine. So glad I had a sitter! At the peak of the trip I felt like I was in a giant hamster wheel (imagine a clock and I was ticking like a second hand around the clock but instead of moving through space, my consciousness was moving through copies of me that were spaced like hundreds of hands of the clock). When I would ratchet through to the 12 o'clock position, I snapped back briefly and felt/saw this reality. Then, off again, ratcheting around the clock, through my alternate selves. It was a really scary feeling of loss of control. I stuck with mushrooms and mescaline after that! due to illness and insomina i stayed awake for close to 5 days,, it was horrible, i did not really have the body strength to sleep but heres what happend when i just sat and meditated, which was all i could do at the time to releave my suffeing. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1191641I could not seem to dream within my own mind, and then i began to see my self like in a mirror but i looked slightly different, there was a circle of me's sitting around and my consciouness was stuck not inserted into any of their points of view. Eventually i seemed to force my way into one of the me's and i managed to dream within its head, and here i am today. Some how i broke the insomnia, it seemed to release me in an angry bite or shake one last time and then left my body.. I could not go straight into a deep sleep, instead i had to spend most of the night in visual dream like sleep, semi lucid. Very bad. |

This is when your pineal gland is activated and you will project your emotional state onto your observations. This however is nothing 4th dimensional, its just your imagination. The shadow people are in fact your anticipations materialized. Perhaps some of you remember this (at least for me it was like this quite often when is was youger): turn of the lights in your bedroom, try to see in the dark and you will see faces and figures in the shadows and objects that are in your vicinity. This is your imagination (sort of like the outlines that the terminator saw) trying to make sense out of your vision. If it cant get a "positive fix" on something it will try to "propose" something to you. Put this together with sleep deprivation (your short term memory is all filled up) and everything will start to appear connected (since your brain has created numerous pathways leading to these memories). In any case, its not a happy state to be in since your judgement is thoroughly impared by this. |

Introspection and religious-type thinking has real flaws and limitations, it can only go so far. The most radical notion in human history is the idea that there's a reality out there we all share, and yes it might include other dimensions and even god-like beings, but it's out there in reality, not in books, not in dreams, not in drugs or rituals. |

Just a trivial attempt at scientifically describing something which is beyond human science. The best part of that attempt is the: "just your imagination" XD The omni-excuse of omni-excuses science has to disprove and ridicule supernatural phenomena. Typical. One would have to try to withstand sleep deprivation for several days on their own to have a balanced judgment on this topic. I for one didn't see anything, I felt the terror and dread, as if the death itself did breathe on my neck. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1038602 Netherlands 12/11/2010 01:28 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | sleep sex and food are the three main pillars that keeps us drowned in physicality. sex wastes the vital fluid. food lowers the body's vibration. sleep wastes time and may cause wet dreams, which also wastes vital fluid. Also, illnesses develop while you're asleep. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1191793All of these are not beneficial at all. They just keep your vibration in check, trapped within the frequency range of 3rd dimension. They keep you trapped in body consciousness. Some of the greatest geniuses of this world led continent and ascetic lives, and they required little food or sleep. All of their energy was focused on their work. Start challenging these 3 basic necessities and your consciousness will begin to rise exponentially. Greater clarity of mind, intelligence, vitality and strength will come if you persist enough. I also believe this is true.. i've got 2 weeks vacation with christmas , and maybe i will go for 5 days without food, sex , and sleep. Maybe some sugarwater and caffeinepills , but nothing more. See what it will bring me.. |
