Kat Mama User ID: 1158227 United States 12/11/2010 02:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Question - how on earth can you people stay awake beyond two days? I stayed up over 24 hours and could barely stop myself from falling asleep. Quoting: R 1191630I used to work in professional theatre and during our busy summer season, I would stay awake for 64 hours at a time (I was a bit younger then, lol!). We were in rotating repertory so I was stage managing a show we had opened, stage managing a show still in rehearsal, while recording for another show that was getting ready for rehearsals. It's one thing to be awake all that time just for the helluvit but - to be responsible for actors and safe stages and recordings that make sense was another story! However, I LOVED recording the show tapes when under sleep deprivation! It'd be the middle of the night and I'd be by myself in the theatre so I'd be playing my work through the house speakers and would go dancing to it across my empty stage! Ahh - those were the days! |

It would make sense as no one would believe someone that is so far in a stupor that it is total changing their being, that "some guy that isn't there pushed them" or the people themselves might not even recall the act happening because of the level of intoxication. How many days must one abstain from food to see visions? Try fasting AND not sleeping; it'll take a helluva lot less than 2 weeks. Somebody in here asked how `we` could stay awake for 3/4 days, but once you get beyond your first urge to have a sleep (not necessarily the first night, but however long you can manage without sleeping for), you can really start to stretch it. Once you get past the second bout of tiredness- on the third day or whenever- things begin to get fun It is the Thunderbolt that steers the Universe - Heraclitus |

MONSTER User ID: 1183372 United States 12/11/2010 03:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Staying up so long will put your brain in survival mode. This is when your pineal gland is activated and you will project your emotional state onto your observations. This however is nothing 4th dimensional, its just your imagination. The shadow people are in fact your anticipations materialized. Quoting: ashesand sackclothPerhaps some of you remember this (at least for me it was like this quite often when is was youger): turn of the lights in your bedroom, try to see in the dark and you will see faces and figures in the shadows and objects that are in your vicinity. This is your imagination (sort of like the outlines that the terminator saw) trying to make sense out of your vision. If it cant get a "positive fix" on something it will try to "propose" something to you. Put this together with sleep deprivation (your short term memory is all filled up) and everything will start to appear connected (since your brain has created numerous pathways leading to these memories). In any case, its not a happy state to be in since your judgement is thoroughly impared by this. Great post. Sure you have nailed it. Yes if only people would take this to heart, we have 2 brains, the one in our head and one in our heart, one thinking, one feeling, you can't raise your vibration with the thinking brain it must come from the feeling brain, and there is no way you can go to and from the 3rd dimention to the 4th there are laws that prevent that, one is square sided and the other is round sided, you just cant get them to fit together, good it is that way, it protects us, we humans could not surive if ones from the other dimention could get through, the universe makes no mistakes it is perfict. Most of you talk of taking drugs to get to a point of seeing things ,this is with your logical mind, go into your heart brain to see the real universe, that is how the monks and yogi's do it, they also accure special powers over matter, not by not sleeping.Sleep gets rid of all the crap the brain accures during the awake time it has to release it or it will get so filled you will go crazy and may cause death even, they used sleep deprevation as torture in the wars, it could fry the brain and never repair its self. Anonymous Coward User ID: 1129369 France 12/11/2010 03:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | sleep sex and food are the three main pillars that keeps us drowned in physicality. sex wastes the vital fluid. food lowers the body's vibration. sleep wastes time and may cause wet dreams, which also wastes vital fluid. Also, illnesses develop while you're asleep. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1191793All of these are not beneficial at all. They just keep your vibration in check, trapped within the frequency range of 3rd dimension. They keep you trapped in body consciousness. Some of the greatest geniuses of this world led continent and ascetic lives, and they required little food or sleep. All of their energy was focused on their work. Start challenging these 3 basic necessities and your consciousness will begin to rise exponentially. Greater clarity of mind, intelligence, vitality and strength will come if you persist enough. Very insightful. I would add that is you let your subconscious "talk to you" and don't restraint it too much during the day, you'll need much less sleep. I've never skipped more than 2 nights of sleep in a row, but I can sleep only 2 or 3 hours a day for weeks when letting my subconscious be free during the day. I'm quite certain sleep is only needed because we don't let some parts of the brain have their part of control. Sleep allows those parts to take control and be free, for some time, and then they give back control to you. Don't listen to boring scientists saying interesting things are just your imagination. In this sentence, everything lies in the "just". "just" the imagination. What does that tell ? That tells contempt for imagination. That tells they won't be looking into what this so-called imagination really is. They're putting everything in a bag, calling it imagination, throwing in into the sea, then saying "oh it's just the imagination". Don't listen to hardcore scientists, but by all means, listen to yourself. You can fast, take drugs, stop sleeping for days, it's not dangerous as long as you think about it, listen to your body, and take care of yourself. Be brave enough to go through what you think are limits, while keeping an eye on yourself. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1129369 France 12/11/2010 03:31 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Antoher thing. About sleep deprivation abolishing the wall between conscious and subconscious, it is true, and I think the way it works is simple, it's the subconscious forcing its way into the conscious, because its time of control is being denied. Look at children. The wall between conscious and subconscious is not so strong. they can go tripping very easily, and letting their thoughts merge in all kind of weird ways. That's something we shouldn't lose as we grow adults. Maybe that's a part of what Jesus meant when he said we should be like children. |
