The Vikings have been requesting (begging) for a new Football stadium for years, funded primarily by taxpayers. The Vikings lease is up soon so not sure what will happen. Minnesota may lose the team if the Vikes don't get what they want.

when they work, they work well. relatively cheap compared to regular roof.

They have always had to clear snow from the dome. The workers were called in off the dome due to the conditions. Bud Grant is rumored to have said "Pull it."

We used to have a roller skating rink in Sacramento that was converted from a supermarket. There were two support poles right in the center of this damn skating rink and if you hadn't practiced there, they hurt.

The home team skaters had the advantage.
