They have begun building a high speed train from Beijing to Amsterdam. Likely this is part of it. 400MPH all the way. 300+ MPH railway connections are being build here all over the country. Here "normal" trains go 200-240km/h already. The west is standing still and countries like India who are nothing more than protectionist to their own people vs. the Chinese are just stirring the pot of hatred when faced with their own incompetence. Yes thats right, India just is no match for China on most levels. Only through 100% importduties from China they can keep their own economy afloat. A good anecdote of a garment buyer from the USA who did business with indians: we had to stop dealing with them because they were unable to get "that smell" out of the products. Labour issues, corruption to the core, the caste system and many other factors just keep india as a wannabe player on the world stage. But, thats a whole other issue all together. Run chicken, run! |

Instead of focusing on the internal problems they've let go on and on until becoming insurmountable - they're looking to avenues of 'construction' that will make their aggressive ventures happen more easily. Yep, the NWO crowd tried that same shit in the USA and it didn't work - the rail line designed to cut the USA up the middle in halves from S. America was ashcanned. Does anybody really believe that the rail line the poster from China is talking about is so Chinese citizens can freely travel around Europe on vacations? ROTFLMAO! |

Chinese can travel wherever they want. They can apply for and get a passport just like you and me. Apply and get a Visa for any country lust like people from other countries. Priorities? Getting all the Chinese connected IS a priority. It is the first step in development, making flows of goods and people possible! I think your views of China are 30years outdated, but I dont blame you. China is smart, most of the developments and construction is aimed at providing a better future, better chances for all Chinese. But If you have an anti china mindset and fall for the propaganda you will never see that to be true. Enjoy your own outdated, failing infrastructure while it is being upheld by bandaids. It helps to have very cheap labors to do all the work and you have many more people than we do. Anyway, when is it a great time to come and visit China to check out osmanthus fragran plants, I believe you call them gui hui? |

Anyway, when is it a great time to come and visit China to check out osmanthus fragran plants, I believe you call them gui hui? Well, China is a big place with all kinds of climates. If you need to be up north i would stick to june-july. When going south where i live the best time would be oktober-november or april-may. mostly because the summers are really hot and humid and the winters wet and cold. What kind of climate do these plants need to thrive ? or where are they found in China? Run chicken, run! |

I thought you would be familiar with these powerful sweet fragrance plants with thousands of small flowers on them. I think the coldest temperature they can tolerate is 10*F. They bloom during fall and spring. China has hundreds of cultivars and there are some that gardeners in USA are lusting after like RiXiangGui, TianXiange, YueYueHong to name a few. We don't really have that much varieties in USA like you do in China. |

China is going through similar period of American industry period hundred years ago. we came up with all kinds of technologies and China is simply taking advantage of these technologies to move even faster but unfortunately, a lot more air pollution due to sheer size of China population. Huge difference between USA and China now. We have so many excessive regulations that kills business and technology innovation. |

I just live here. From your words I think most of the southern part and up north on the coastal side of China would be well suited for these plants. Unlike stereotypes we know in the west there is a great deal of preservation going on to protect wildlife and plant life. Most Chinese would consider themselves bhudist so this has definetly something to do with it.. I can only advice you to take the step and travel here. Take 3-4 weeks and go from place to place. China is very safe and lots of wonderous things to see and people to meet. Run chicken, run! |

You didn't notice wafting powerful sweet fragrance? The flowers are also used for tea as well. [link to www.leffingwell.com] |

In fact, i have 2 of these as entryposts of my carpark! Tea yes, since moving here 5 years ago I developed a teste for it. I am particularly fond of spring cuts of green tea. rare, expensive and only available in a few weeks of spring. Sweet taste wonderful smell. I used to import coffee for my addiction haha, but now I just buy roasted beans from Yunnan that are excellent at 25% of western prices. Not good news for my coffee addiction but I always say; you got to die of something right. Run chicken, run! |
