Your research needs to be tweeked. In the New Testament Jesus says, "Behold, I saw Lucifer fall from the sky like a lightning bolt." Still, your comments about the same phrase referring to both Jesus and Lucifer is quite true. Non-biblical sources refer to them as sort of brothers: I recall that Lucifer in the Old Testament was the closest being to the Godhead. After he fell his name was changed to Satan. Unlike Lucifer ,Satan isn't even a "Fallen Angel",

He's a prosecutor in Gods court , the only reason we consider him an enemy is because we're the ones on trial.

( The name "Satan" literally means "Accuser" )
