Houston man kills three robbers who bound up his wife and almost killed him
I hope this guy will be OK. I know Obama will wring his hands and say only the police should have guns but this guy and his wife are only alive because, thank God, he had a gun to protect his shop.

HOUSTON — A jewelry store owner shot and killed three armed men who tried to rob his business, police said.

Two men were in an east Houston jewelry store Thursday afternoon pretending to be customers when a third man burst into the store and stated, "This is a robbery," Houston police spokesman Kese Smith said.

All three men then pulled out pistols, tied up the store owner's wife and took her to a back room, Smith said.

As they were trying to tie up the store owner, the 52-year-old took out a handgun from his waistband and fatally shot one of the suspects, Smith said. The store owner then grabbed a shotgun and shot and killed the two other suspects in the ensuring gunbattle, Smith said.

Obama can't do shit. Here in Texas, it is legal to kill anyone who breaks into your house/business, especially if those people are going to kill you.

Wonder if he can claim the ammo he used as a tax deduction? Ya know, a business expense or something...

It looks more like a pawnshop. Very bad location for a jewelry store. Certainly

not high end. Bars on the windows and doors. Just the kind of place to avoid

in case it gets robbed while you're shopping. On a bad day you might be

identified as one of the crooks and become involved in a 3 way shootout.

Thank God for Castle Doctrine Law in Texas! Good for him.

A Castle Doctrine (also known as a Castle Law or a Defense of Habitation Law) is an American legal doctrine claimed by advocates to arise from English Common Law[1] that designates one's place of residence (or, in some states, any place legally occupied, such as one's car or place of work) as a place in which one enjoys protection from illegal trespassing and violent attack. It then goes on to give a person the legal right to use deadly force to defend that place (his/her "castle"), and/or any other innocent persons legally inside it, from violent attack or an intrusion which may lead to violent attack. In a legal context, therefore, use of deadly force which actually results in death may be defended as justifiable homicide under the Castle Doctrine....

You are obviously a 'victim' with all the trappings. I hope the guy next to you have a gun if you are ever acosted. Otherwise, you may be in trouble.

Doubt it will matter. Everything he owns will wind up with some family of one or all of the three he killed and he'll likely be in jail for a few years.

It's the way the system works these days.

Still though, good for him! Hope it all works out for him and his family.
