Yes. They can 'hear' you if they choose to. You need to think lots of happy, positive thoughts and get yourself in a loving mood, because that radiates your whole energy field. Then concentrate on making contact, request over and over in your mind that you would like to have communication with a positive, loving being. It also helps to vector in on your location by imagining you were coming down from space, what countries, landmarks, etc... would you see on the way down as you approached where you are located. This helps them find you better.

I recommend doing this away from big city crowds and out in nature somewhere. Overnight camping is ideal. I did this on a camping trip and they actually came to visit in person.
