While meditating a couple years back, I was attempting this. Got voices in my head twice...fucking HATED it. So I stopped that practice quick. It is disturbing...IMO.

What AC said to be positive is true. His way of leading them in is unfamiliar with me, however I can definatly see it work. Personally I visualize a centered beam of light from my 3rd eye with the intention to make contact. It's sort of a guidance system for them because they can lock on to such a beam of energy.

The way they contact at first may be very small. Depends on how much you open up to and they might not want to rush things. Could be a feeling like tingling or a sudden pressure or a bit cold, or a flash of light or a sparkle.

They could also try to talk to you, but it won't be like humans do. At first it might be really fuzzy, but you seem to get thoughts that are not yours. After a bit that clears up and you will feel if it is true or not.

And they will never do things you don't want. They will never infringe upon your free will. And they will probably only answer when asked.
