Poor people do poor people things, and rich people do rich people things.

You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it!

when you rob Paul to give to Peter ... ... ... you will always get Peters support!

I think it was Constantine who we have to thank for grafting those Levite stories of anger, jealousy, killing and destruction on to the message of the Christos. Still, most of the christians like those parts better anyway. Much easier for them to relate to and practice.

Psa 137:9 Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.

The destruction of Babylon being foreseen as a sure destruction (thou art to be destroyed), it is spoken of, 1. As a just destruction. She shall be paid in her own coin: “Thou shalt be served as thou hast served us, as barbarously used by the destroyers as we have been by thee,” See Rev_18:6. Let not those expect to find mercy who, when they had power, did not show mercy. 2. As an utter destruction. The very little ones of Babylon, when it is taken by storm, and all in it are put to the sword, shall be dashed to pieces by the enraged and merciless conqueror.

All of that was something the prophets said would happen to Israel if they left God. And it did happen to them when their enemies attacked them.

That wasn't something God ordered, just the prophets stating fact.

How does this reflect negatively against Christians?

You do realize these things were in regards to siege right?

The Creator warned Israel that if they did not love their neighbors and act correctly that Israel would come under the same punishment of the people who were thrown out of the land.

The "Happy people" were the ones who invaded Israel and were their enemies.

Context, context, context.

Pulling out one "verse" to attack with is very...........Christian like.

You might want to read the "Gasp" entire thing in context.

This is taken out of context. Big surprise there, but here are the last 3 verses of Psalm 137:

7Remember, O LORD, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation thereof.

8O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us.

9Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.

The chapter is talking about the enemies of God's people sacking Jerusalem and killing their people.

Let's look at this in context. It's actually has layered meanings.

8 Daughter Babylon, doomed to destruction,
happy is the one who repays you
according to what you have done to us.
9 Happy is the one who seizes your infants
and dashes them against the rocks.

Daughter Babylon is Mystery Babylon, which are the occult rulers of this world, but, in context to this verse, the whole system under which we live.

Their infants, to whom this verse is referring, are their Satanic generational occultic bloodline, a/k/a, the Nephilim bloodline, but it's more so a generic reference to the evil and corrupt system as a whole when it says to seize the infants and "dash them against the rocks." Which, by the way, "rocks" is another veiled reference.

Though we, as Christians, are not called to go out and commit murder on a people, since that would go against one of the commandments, we are, however, called to pray for the Kingdom of God to come on Earth as it is in Heaven and to pray for the destruction of Mystery Babylon.

But we know that all creation groans for the revealing of the Sons of God. Even the Earth's creatures can't wait until the Mystery Babylon is destroyed!

Think how boring it would be for christians to only have the teachings of love your neighbor, feed the poor, heal the sick, treat all as equals, and do unto others as you would be done by. Where is the hate and vengeance, the judgment and self righteous violence in that?

You couldn't ask them to actually follow something so difficult.

Do you know who Mystery Babylon is? Your so-called 'Gods Chosen People'! Babylon is reference to Empire. Mystery, as in hidden. Which is what the International Jewish Cabal is - a 'hidden' global Evil empire that controls the world from behind the scenes! And the 'God's Chosen People' is their greatest lie - its the complete opposite - Satan's Spawn!
