Alger Hiss

Alger Hiss became the acting Secretary-General after the establishment of the UN. The April 16, 1945 issue of Time magazine called him "one of the State Departments brighter young men."

It was Hiss, and Joseph E. Johnson (who later became Secretary of the Bilderbergers) who wrote much of the UN Charter, patterning it after the Constitution of Russia, and the Communist Manifesto.
