In my spirit a couple of times I recently heard:

"This is It"

Well he was one of the first communists, if you believe his philosophy. He was all about sharing equally, not stabbing each other in the back for a buck.

Interesting perspective. While I agree Jesus Christ tells us to help the needy, He does not ask us to share equally, nor does He desire government to enforce it. His directive is to do it willingly, even gladly, not under any sense of obligation or duress. Further, no form of government eliminates greed. Communist elite live extravagent lifestyles while the general population suffers.

BTW, Russia is the last Christian nation and they are protecting Syria, the birthplace of Christianity. ("they were first called Christians in Antioch" - prior to that, they were a sect of Judaism known as The Way)

I do believe many Russians are christians. But, Putin certainly [imo] is not one of them. That is an interesting tie in with Syria but most consider Pentecost [in Jerusalem] the birthplace of the christian church.
