You are correct there is a book i am reading that was written by a preacher and he even attests to the fact that most people do not experience what they would call JESUS CHRIST when they have these experiences. They mostly just see a quiet and calming white light or white light being that they never thought was JESUS CHRIST.

My NDE made it perfectly clear to me that Jesus was not real and the we all go to some kind of other reality when we pass over.

There is no Jesus and there is no heaven. He wasn't there when I had an NDE

Personally I think it depends on your beliefs how light being appears. If you are christian, you most likely see Jesus. If you are muslim you see mohammed.....etc. neverhtless..only fraction of religious people met their messiah/teacher.

There was a thread earlier in the year about someone's NDE that was just moving.

Anyway, I picked up this link from that thread about researching NDE.

Good read for those that are interested.

It appeared to me as a sphere of light, but light that is aware. Light that is awareness. Not something so much seen—since we have no physical eyes without a body—as sensed. Something like the warmth of sunlight even when your eyes are squeezed shut. But with the additional sense of someone present, close by, their attention resting on the edges of your awareness gently. An aware light that is both the substance and the medium of communion within its own spherical spatiality. An aware light that creates and sustains the possibility of shared awareness on a universal basis. Within its infinite spatiality.

I was fully awake when I realized I was myself a sphere of communion.

A sphere of aware light.

Surrounded by an infinite number of other spheres of aware light.

So, as I experienced it, the Sphere of Universal Communion is an infinite space of aware light that is occupied by all the individual spheres of aware light that ever have or ever will exist. As if it were the One Mind, occupied by all the individual Ideas it ever has or ever will conceive. Or the timeless, dimensionless, Over-soul, occupied by all the individual souls that ever have or ever will enter the realm of time, space, and personality. As I said, I do not pretend to know what it’s true name is, but the relation between the Whole and its parts—and between parts and parts—this I know and can still see with diamond clarity.

Christianity has nothing to do with an NDE. NDEs have nothing to do with religion whatsoever. It's simply the way human life was set up from the very beginning.

For those who haven't thought about it, religion is man made.

If you experience a NDE that means you are going to hell..

You are going to heaven escorted by angels..!!

So if you dont see angels when you die and you are going to a wide tunnel that means you are not going to heaven!!

You are correct near death experiences have nothing to do with religion. We are spiritual beings, every one of us, and we go back to the spiritual realm from whence we came. Truth and reality are beyond the teachings of man which include heaven and hell and religion.

not sure where you got that, but it's not correct. I interviewed (a couple of time) Dr. Jeff Long from nderf, his stats are much higher.

It's common knowledge from all the data of NDE's. Just compare the ones who were getting collected to the light (heaven) versus the floating/tunnel ones (hell). There are more Hell ones, and they are scary instead of calming (makes sense).

So ... the release of dimethyltryptamine caused my heart to stop beating and that's why I had an NDE? I don't think so. My heart stopped beating and I left my body until EMTs revived me. While I was out of my body, I saw everything that was going on around my body. Until people have their own NDE or out of body experience, you can't know what it's like. You can't even assume you know what it's like. Once you have it, though, your entire perception of everything changes.

A near-death experience is just that, near death. It also means you are not going to die but you came close. In my case, EMTs were nearby and able to revive me.

There is no specific place as hell or even heaven. They are states of mind. Those who die and go to the fictional place of hell are simply going where others of like mind reside. If you murdered someone out of revenge or greed perhaps, then once you die you will go where others are like you. How would you like to spend time with murderers and other low-lifes? If you lived a good life and were good to others, you'll spend time with others like you.

Life and death was not created to be a hellish experience. It's the choices we make that make it so. Once we leave earth, we go on to experience other realms (dimensions), good or bad, depending on our core beliefs. In other words, we return to the source from which we came. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.

I had a NDE once and I didn't see a white light like everyone usually describes. I remember floating above my body and floating out into space, towards the center of the universe. I got the feeling like i should let everything go, and whatever is next, i will eventually see the ones i loved again... but in another life.
