Quoting: Anonymous Coward 959838 Professor Sidney Campbell's report highlighted the disparity in current voting trends and some eye opening facts about Barack Obama. Anonymous Coward User ID: 11618322 United States 06/16/2012 03:37 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is so true. I support Obama (to the extent that this country is most likely going to get fucked either way) and I'm freaking retarded. Two fluent languages, two proficient languages, three programming languages, working on a degree at MIT, a pretty decent knowledge of the western literary canon, I play two instruments, a fair bit of practice with advanced physics, math, economics, philosophy and sociology... Among other things. That said, I'm half Mexican, so I must be a lazy moran. Half of you people wouldn't know reasoning if it bit you in the ass. I suggest you all take a course in logic and the principles of research and learn to contextualize. Shit, just read more. Even if the study WERE real, a single study does not make something true. That's the whole freaking point of science. THAT said, if you people actually bothered to take a look instead of being sheep, you'd realize that a Professor Sidney Campbell has never attached his/her name to any such study, the Institute for Freedom has no record of such a study, and the only instance of this article and the study it is based on come from the lady on Sodahead who goes by American Cow Girl @ heart. Think for yourselves, you freaking sheep. You have the internet at your fingertips, it is NOT hard to do preliminary research. All that out of the way, I actually kind of hope Romney wins, despite my libtardedness. He is going to be faaaarrrr more liberal than Obama Should have seen the way he ran MA. True moderate and far smarter than some of the other morons that get elected to the Governor's office in other states. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 11618322 United States 06/16/2012 04:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | All of them made some seriously important contributions to Economic theory, but when we attempt to implement them we fuck them up based on our political ideologies. We try to make Economic theory fit our world view and in that manner both sides screw everyone over. Key point: A free market != an unregulated market. A free market is a limited regulation market, with the government using SCIENCE and the best available economic theories to regulate the market according to best practices. Bastiat for example championed taking a look at the WHOLE picture for economic decisions: I.E. the long-term. Yet, today's version of Capitalism, championed by Friedman and his flunkies, is concerned with short term economic gain. Another example, with Smith we pick and choose which of his theories to use, when he was in fact adamantly against corporations and very much agreed that certain aspects of trade SHOULD be regulated by the government. The government is regulating the wrong fucking things, for sure, but it is a consequence of competing patch-work theories driving each other into the ground. If anything, Economic decisions should be regulated by an entirely new branch of government composed of the top thinkers from both sides of the aisle, with a strict set of rules for what they can and can't do. Letting the morons in congress, or an already corrupt market, dictate the terms of the economy doesn't work. That, said, this would be almost entirely infeasible given the nature of our moronic system of government. I, personally, don't have a way out of this mess, I just know what is causing it. |

Bastiat... Is Bastiat.
