I feel for her because I am also living in ONE room and still my utility bill is F*cking OUTRAGEOUS! I don't have a huge Tv or a gaming system but if I did it would be in that room with me.

To be fair, that T.V. has a market value of a hundred bucks (just a guess). Of course the cable bill may be a bit pricey. We really don't know her situation, but government should not be in the business of handing out money period. Charities are better at weeding out the needy from the lazy.

that big ass TV, is like 42 or 46 inch LCD or LED TV, which values like 800+ dollors or so, and xbox360...

but who knows the whole story.

If she stopped watching that TV and stopped playing the video games, she could get off her big ass and do something to get some money, like pick up cans or something. and if she worked a little bit it would warm her up. We keep ours at 58 and wear lots of layers.
Some folks will set that thing to 80.

I have a huge tv, a sony 46" and I got it for free from a customer after we remodeled their place.
He was getting a flatscreen and didn't want the hassle of dealing with the big brute so he gave it to me.
It was about 2500 or so new but now the flatscreens are out they have little value.
I have received about 4 tv's in the past 2 years this way, all for free which I then either sell for cheap or pass on to someone else.

It is really strange on one hand because I haven't watched tv for 20 yrs.

in the pic if you look close you will see a good size electric space heater, they use megawatts of electricity to heat a room or house.



Need to pay her bills? Sell her TV and game system.

It is called sacrifice/ common sense when you need to pay bills on must make choices of what is not needed and sell it or have it shut off ( cable, SAT TV, Internet,extra cell Phones,etc )...

the problem is the overwhelming percentage of blacks that are on welfarevs the percentage of whites. oh, and the folks paying for the welfare are mostly whites. the only blacks paying taxes are professional athletes, musicians or actors and they all end up on welfare once their careers are over anyway.
