Hunting alone presents some problems....for this hunter he shot a fine trophy and hurried to set up his camera before it was too dark....he did not know he had a second hunter watching him until he developed the film....lucky guy in many ways. ThanX for the sending me the pic and the elk meat pal. Next year I'm all in...!

Doesn't it depend on what you're hunting?

Damn, I thought I was going to see an alien pointing a raygun at him or bigfoot - still it's a cool pic.

I was thinking of hunting in the general sense, not just in this specific situation

There are Wildcats/Mountain Lions is SW Wisconsin. There is even a hill named 'Wildcat Mountain'. Only seen two in my time here though.
We all breathe the same air.

Re: Hunting alone presents some problems
I was archery elk hunting up next to Mt.St Helens this late season and had a cougar stalking me. I looped around and found rather large cougar prints in my own tracks. From the tracks I found it had been following me about 2/3 of a mile. I just nocked one up and kept hunting although I did check my six every so often. Part of what makes hunting great you never really know what you'll see or what might happen.
