With the downward spiraling economy, global tensions heating up, and American military power spread far, wide, and thin...the timing is not a coincidence now is it?

Be careful what you wish for people. You now are eligible to be drafted if you are openly gay. Did you think about this? There are lots of gays who would never consider serving in the military and have no appetite for war. They will be drafted along with everyone else. There will be no exclusion. Wonder how long it will take for this little tid-bit to settle in. Women are now in combat zones. Gays are now in combat zones. And that is fine. If you wanted out of the Navy, when I was in, all you had to do was get caught with someone of the same sex, doing something you shouldn't, and they let you go. I bet that is gone now, as well.
