A Winter Park man faces up to 20 years in federal prison for pointing a laser at an Orange County Sheriff's Office helicopter and temporarily blinding the pilot. [ link to www.orlandosentinel.com] 20 years....for a laser pointer which resulted in no property damage and no injuries. How dare a lowly citizen endanger a member of the special and privileged class?!? Only 20 years?? They should have gotten a firing squad!!!
