I can't believe the amount of people in this thread defending this jackass who pointed a high coherence green laser at an aircraft, with the intention of temporarily or permanently blinding its pilot.

You cannot tell me this fucknut was just "playing around" or that his laser was the same type of red or near infrared laser used for target scopes. Do a little fucking research on how dangerous these green lasers are before you open your fucking mouth to tell everyone how stupid it is he's being charged with a major crime.

I don't give a fuck how you feel about the police. What if it had been a civilian helicopter and it had crashed on some innocent family? Still OK? Still just goofing around with a laser? Bullshit. As far as I'm concerned he may as well have been shooting at it with a rifle, and charged as such.
