That's a long answer lol: I don't know for sure if there's serious conscious knowledge on the used symbolism. Sometimes there is (disney) sometimes there isn't (ehm, lots of others). I think most symbolism is used unconsciously but has its meaning to other subconsciousnesses. Some initiates will use symbolism conscious to help or suppose to bring on the new golden age. What's it really about? haha 'channeling' comes close :) but it's about evoking neutral cosmic energies, colouring it with your own intent (positive or negative) and spreading it amongst the people.
