Are Aliens Abducting Aliens Who Don't Know They Are Alien?

I was watching the Fourth Kind a few minutes ago, and lightheartedly thought that the main character, the supposedly real one from the supposedly real footage, looked like an alien. This got me thinking.

Could aliens be abducting people who are are in fact aliens who don't know they are aliens placed here on recon to learn about the human race? Maybe they have alien DNA? Are they abducting them to sort of upload the info they gather? There are plenty of fine human specimens that could be abducted, but are not, although it is possible that a good majority of abductees don't know they have been abducted.

Main character, of course, would be one of these non-aware aliens--well, it could be a real human who gets involved with an unaware alien.

I used to be deathly afraid of aliens. If I saw so much as a commercial for a UFO show or a picture of alien on the internet, I would be scared and afraid to sleep for at least a week. It never failed. This lasted until I was about 14. Even after that, for some unknown reason, I was scared shitless of the beach house we would go to every summer. I would be perfectly fine, and I even started to think aliens were cool, but whenever we went to this beach house this fear of abduction would surge again, and be gone once we were back home.

I don't believe I was abducted, and if by chance I was, I don't believe I am an alien. But I am started to become curious...

...I do remember when I was 5-7 that I'd often wake up in the middle of the night horrified of something, I also remember seeing shadows lurking around my room in the dead of night whenever I woke up like that I'd book it to my parents room and jump in bed with them.
