Excellent work @ vigilantcitizen. Very good at putting the pieces together... there definitely was a lot of symbolism in that trailer, I shudder to think what the show itself must be like.

Way too serious of stuff for Nick to be showing. Kids TV has gone so far down the drain in the last decade alone...

Terrible to see. I advise everyone... DO NOT let your children watch 'kids channels'. They're working harder on mindfucking them than they are adults at this point.

Getting the kids while young. Exposing them to their religion - although I guess they don't see it as just another religion, but the true way. It's interesting on all fronts they are being very explicit now - guess they feel comfortable enough to do this now as they feel they have reached critical mass. I can just imagine what the world will be like 20 yrs from now.

So, what do any of you know about the "diety" Anubis so as to decide whether this is good or bad for children.

Is it the fact that it's egyptian?

Is the fact that it's not christian in nature?

What I want to know is whether any of you understand the modality Anubis represents, other than what you've been told by Wikipedia or your bibles?

I know TPTB were pulling his giant statue around to all their hot spots--London, NYC, Denver airport. How can that be a good thing?

TPTB put up alot of Jesus stuff too for the populace in terms of historical context, if you're suspicious of Anubis, you could apply the same logic and be suspicious of Jesus.

No, Anubis is an honorable figure, he is man's loyal friend, canine. But yes also the trickster, coyote, according to Native American legend. Nevertheless, as occupying a lower station than humans, he is suitably fit for judging the dead.

Again: Abraham religions are a wasteland of hollow, duplicitous diffracted humans. So to return to the archetypes of the Ogdoad, is obvious. We need to return to an understanding of the lower animals as our potential judges, for we abuse their kind, in this modern age. And what is with the fascination of the one eye - even in this now show, again one eye covered, the other exposed? I'm curious what your take on this is if you care to share.

Denver's art museum has an exhibit of King Tut right now. Assuming these artifacts came through the Denver airport to be displayed at the Denver museum, perhaps this could be one of the reasons - it's an exhibit.

Nevertheless, the more important question here is - What does Anubis represent? Anubis is the Greek name for Anpu, they are the same jackal-headed archetype facilitating as "Guide of the Dead" who leads the "deceased" to the Hall of Justice for the Weighing of the Heart and Words.

Death and the "dead" are figurative, and not literal. In the pre-dynastic cosmologies of Egypt, to "die" or to be "embalmed" alluded to the state of being whereupon a person is no longer ruled by thier lower (animalistic) nature, and have become "dead" through a process of purification, mummification. This is why Anpu (Anubis) is the embalmer of Ausar/Osiris.

The one eye is the eye of Heru, the son of the dead Osiris/Ausar, conceived immaculately through Auset/Isis. This eye represents seeing with the right brain faculties (all-seeing), as opposed to the left brain faculties.
