QUESTION, To Homosexuals.

Being homosexual has nothing to do with considering the same sex attractive, preferring the same sex over the opposite sex,
or personality.

Being homosexual is all about deriving physical pleasure through sex. There is also the whole submission and dominance issue.

Now consider this question: Have you ever heard of a person who was born blind who is homosexual saying they came to be gay based on physical attraction to the same sex?

If it were not for the fact that this young man is the son of a very good friend, it would not have bothered me.
I watched this kid grow up, was activley involved and helped nurture this boy into what I considered to be a healthly,honest young adult.
We shared hunting and fishing trips together,(father, son and myself) I introduced him to the great outdoors lifestyle.
I guess not having a son of my own, made me want pass on skills and help build this young mans character.
I did not ever see the day he would fall so low as to find comfort in the arms of a man.

Not sure your experience is universal. Gay men and gay women I have known seem to have different motivations. A lot of gay women are simply busted and bruised casualties of men. Males seem to be, as a group, extremely rebellious. Many seem to have an oppositional defiance disorder.

You think that there has to be "something they find repulsive" about the female body to not be attracted to it.

Are you repulsed by a chair? Are you repulsed by your favorite pet?

No.

But you aren't sexually attracted to them, either, are you.

Just because a person doesn't find someone or something attractive doesn't mean there is a required "repulsive" factor.

That may be the case for you, but not for all of us. As I already related, I love horses. They are beautiful, amazing, magnificent creatures. Nothing repulsive at all about them.

But they don't make me horny. I don't react sexually to them. They don't get my juices flowing.

Women aren't repulsive to me, necessarily. They are simply not attractive to me. Woman parts are kinda ugly. Not REPULSIVE, just not attractive. I feel absolutely no arousal when I look at breasts or labia.

I really don't understand why you find it so hard to understand "I am not aroused by women." You can understand "I am not aroused by a chair," or "I am not aroused by animals," but you refuse to recognize the fact that the same principle applies here.

You WANT to see it as a "repulsion" factor, and you WANT it to be a moral failing. You WANT to hate your friend's son, you WANT to be angry and tell yourself that he failed you by not forever hiding who he really was in order to simply please YOU.

But in reality, it is YOU who have the moral failing. If you truly loved him, you would want him to be happy. But you don't want him to be happy, you want him to be the way you wanted to form him into. You want him to be what you expected of him, and you don't truly care about (and certainly don't love him for) who he REALLY is.
