This was our favorite prank in Boston. When it happened to me (ya know that Karma thing..) I would always save the number as "Don't answer" in my phone... but they're trick bastards and always call from a different number. If you give them a number you guarantee they will harass the people for atleast 3 months which i think is enough torture.
Quoting: whiskeyandcigsThat reminds me of something that happened to me when I was in California around 1982. I went to a presentation they gave and signed up for their newsletter. Then they started calling me asking for money. After the tried to get me to run for a local office. They said:
Them: "Give us some money. You like what we are publishing don't you?"
Me: "Yes but I don't have any money. I just got out of graduate school and have debts to pay."
Them: "Borrow the money."
Me: "No."
Them: "You have money. What do you do with your money."
Me: "I have another charity I give it to."
Them: "Who do you give your money to?"
Me: "None of your business."
Then I decided to tell them who I gave my money to and they started swearing and telling me the charity I gave money to was led by a witch (I'm not kidding) and so I hung up.
