cave diving rich man's past time? i mean how much is it for al that equipment? Cave diving can be expensive to get all the gear you want (which you always want more -- lol) but I have about $20,000 in diving gear (tanks, regs, scooters, etc etc) and around $10,000 invested in a HD Underwater Video setup (Gates Housing, Sony HD cams, lights etc). Once you have your gear though a $80 annual state pass will get you in tons of places to dive all year... only gas for the truck to get there and gas for your cylinders at that point. You can get basic cave diving gear that you would need for "most" cave diving for $2000 or so. oki doki most people i know cant even afford a snorkel  nice pics tho  I have been slowly adding to my cave gear over 10 years. A lot of that stuff (like tanks and wings) are good for a long time. I do buy new Atomic Aquatics regs every two years however. I consider the regs a "critical" part of my gear... LOL
