Bright pink night sky again! WTF??? | |

The sun went down at 5:06 and the moon which is only a half moon tonight producing a 46% luminosity will not rise until 12:25 am. My question is why in hell does it appear to be morning. The pink shade of light is bright enough to drive with no lights down a road with no street lamps. I find it hard to believe it is refraction from the city through particles of dust and water from the lights here in this tiny town. It just doesn't add up. Can anyone verify or at least give me an educated answer. I have a decent education and a military and firefighting background and I don't think I am crazy... Or am I? Maybe you have some goofy government clouds that trap and reflect light back, I don't know. |

I am still searching for data on the subject but all the normal explanations just don't put the pieces together. I understand that pollution and refraction from city lights can cause a similar effect but nothing like what I am seeing and lunar light can also have a like effect but on the night's that I post some of these I make sure I know where the moon is and when it is scheduled to rise/set and for the most part I have reported this happening hours before or after luna is even close so WTF! I'm no idiot and I do my homework and from what I have gathered none of these explanations can be to blame. Of course that's just my opinion. Be well!
