Coffee is not something you need to survive.

Water shortages would be a crisis but this is not. People could drop coffee if they had to, it's not going to kill you after all.

I store it in mylar bags sealed with a hot iron. I dont put o2 removers in sugar because this will also cause it to become a brick. You can still eat it either way. I buy the mylar bags on ebay.

That's good to know. I think I'm going to look for at bulk bean prices. I have a hand wheat mill. It does a great job grinding rice for rice flour. Maybe it would grind coffee as well.

Better learn to identify dandelion and chicory on the roadside if you want a coffee substitute. And then learn to pull the roots, dry them and roast them for a satisfying beverage that won't have the caffeine you're looking for, but will at least have the heartiness of coffee.

Better learn to identify dandelion and chicory on the roadside if you want a coffee substitute. And then learn to pull the roots, dry them and roast them for a satisfying beverage that won't have the caffeine you're looking for, but will at least have the heartiness of coffee.

I have many uses for dandelions. I don't like to drink them;I put them in salads.
