I have yet to see a subject on this site where someone doesn't attach religion to it. There was nothing religious about the video. All it did was quote facts. I wish you bible-thumpers would start your own site and preach to your own choir.

i notice this alot... people are afraid of love after having put on a show for to long that in order to be themselfs theyd basicly have to sort of start a new life and have to let go of some of their "friends" who never really were friends to begin with. but people dont want to lose the comfort their in. so their twisted, upset and without a guide...

i hurts me to see them when they want change and help but on the other hand are afraid of it.

In my mind I always pair Daniel's recording of the angel's statement "knowledge shall be increased" with Paul's warning of and to atheists: "always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth". (2 Tim 3:7)

Knowledge is good, it has allowed us to go to the moon, cure polio, and build mass transit etc. But for those who pursue knowledge to the point where it becomes an idol and never acknowledging it came from God means they are lost.

My way is my way ... why should it concern you? What I believe or don't believe is no concern of yours. I don't care what or how your believe but I do resent your pushing your beliefs on others.

I agree. Some will learn to love others, but that's the easy part. The hard part is opening your heart to receive the love of someone else.

When we give love, we remain in control: we decide who to love, when to love, how much to love... and even when to stop loving.

But when we receive love, we have to relinquish control and become vulnerable. That's extremely hard to do.

And if it's hard to do with other people, imagine how difficult it is for someone new to faith to "open up" to receive God's love.

I bet if you spent a whole day with those who "control their own destiny", the divorce rate, drug abuse and debt slavery would make alot more sense!

They are quick to tell believers that we are inferior for relying on God to guide us in our choices. But when you see the mess their lives are in, you have to wonder why they think they are going about it the RIGHT way!

I pray that we can move beyond legalism and learn to live in the Father's affection.

If you've had some of my experiences, you'd throw religion out the window in a heartbeat. Don't knock others' beliefs until you've walked a mile in their shoes.

If someone making that criticism had ever relied on God, then I would be more quick to listen to him or her.

But how can knowledge become an idol when it is neither a person nor a thing but rather information (data)!?

The knowledge spoken of in Daniel 12 is in reference to "Biblical Knowledge".

I agree! The Bible says Eve ate of the "fruit" of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. The universal "fruit" is the APPLE.

But I am led to believe that something far worse than taking a bite of "fruit" occurred at that time. In fact, I believe Eve's son, Cain, was a product of the "bite of fruit", but I won't go into that here.

Suffice it to say, the Bible mentions "Fruit" from that Tree. I imagine the first fruit most think of is not a "mango".

First off, I've never "thumped" a bible in my life. But I can understand how the truth might be very uncomfortable for you.

Secondly, we're supposed to IGNORE all of the signs around us? The very ones that we were instructed to be watchful of?

We were told NOT to sleep, as others do, and to be vigilant and watchful, and fully aware of the signs of the times.

And yeah, I know that you'd like for us to just go away. That's also a fulfillment of bible prophecy.
