congratulations, i am glad you came from a stronger place than me. however, my surrender was hardly half-hearted. it was a desperate plea with all brokenness...
Man, that word "surrender" has chased me all my life. Every time I think that I have surrendered "all" (as the hymn says), in just a few weeks/months I find that I have really surrendered very little... and that additional surrender beckons at me.
Quoting: Life and Lovethat is a good point. all i needed to do was bring what i had at the time to the foot of the altar, and it was plenty enough to get a grand response. i am so glad that my works and abilities have nothing to do with my relationship with God. otherwise, i would be in big trouble.
