just one thing about your link from the daily star they are probably the most unreliable paper that and the sun. They would put anything in there headlines just to sell a paper trust me they are just easy reading papers. We have had winters before where the thames froze over this winter wasnt even close
 Quoting: brascoe

Maybe you missed the facts that were presented in the article. So far the average temperature in the UK is -1 Centigrade. Regardless of the reputation of the Daily Star, the average temperature is not in dispute. That is lower than any average winter temperature for hundreds of years.

They predict that the average temp could go even lower because the brunt of the winter usually comes in January/February. So it's likely that the average temperature this season could be lower than -1 C.

Also in reference to your comment "this winter wasnt even close" you're talking as if this winter is in the past tense. There are two more months of winter left! They happen to be the two coldest months of the years that are still on the horizon.

When the River Thames freezes....that will be impressive.

From 1400 into the 19th century, there were 24 winters in which the Thames was recorded to have frozen over at London; if "more or less frozen over" years (in parentheses) are included, the number is 26: 1408, 1435, 1506, 1514, 1537, 1565, 1595, 1608, 1621, 1635, 1649, 1655, 1663, 1666, 1677, 1684, 1695, 1709, 1716, 1740, (1768), 1776, (1785), 1788, 1795, and 1814.[23]

From your own stats, there were 23 occasions within a 400 year period. That's about 6 times per 100 years.

But the Thames hasn't frozen over in the last 196 years! Industrialization might have something to do with the change.

So if it freezes despite industrialization, that would be something.

Put this in your poor little pea brain and chew on it and then tell me anything man does has shit effect on the global climate:

There are approximately 6.8 Billion people on earth.

Each human takes up approximately 20 cubic feet of space.

That equals to 136 Billion cubic feet of humans.

One cubic mile contains just OVER 147 Billion cubic feet.

So even including my excessively fat ass American compatriots you could fit EVERY human on Earth in less than 1 CUBIC MILE of space.

The formula for the volume of a sphere is 4/3 X 3.141 X Radius squared.

If you only allow surface to 5 miles as atmosphere (it extends up much farther than that) and calculate the volume of the Earth plus atmosphere minus the volume of the Earth..

The volume of the Earth's atmosphere is just under 10 BILLION cubic miles.

So you dimwits that think man has ANYTHING to do with the climate on Earth are saying that 1 cubic mile of humans in 10 BILLION cubic miles of atmosphere is going to change the climate?

All of you have been had hook line and sinker by the greedy bastards headed by Al Gore who want to line their pockets by convincing you that man is changing the climate and you need to pay them to help stop it. P.T. Barnum has nothing on 'ol Global warming Al Gore.
