I've noted before that there's a sorta inverse happening with relationships online, say between Facebook and this site. If I go out onto Facebook, which I have, and attempt to start a discussion about the kind of information we talk about here, it's a chorus of crickets in response 95% of the time. Yet when I talk about it here, it's like I'm at home. Yet here, unlike With friends and family on Facebook, 'relationships' are highly disposable. Which is why I chose not to waste my time getting hung up on people's character issues or whatever. It's about what you can use and contribute in the communicating of information. That's how the magic happens. That's how the connections happen.
