Intuitive thought comes to mind. Therefor, forethought would be superluminal, and not part of the normal 'physical' function of synapses. BUT, say synapses fires and creates a slight charge (and field). (Thinking out loud here). That slight charge and field (light) has the opportunity to allow manifestation of the superluminal into the event of firing synapses. My guess would be if you were in tune enough to recognize it for what it is, and not discard it. Most, would discard it, as it was an 'impulse' that had no real physical cause. The synapses didn't fire because of the incoming superluminal intuitive 'forethought'. It fired because something physical was needed or occurring to the brain/body.
