Not any inside information here, just my wild mass guessing... there's a plan afoot that I catch the periphery of in the strangest places. If Paul goes independent, he loses what little mainstream attention he gets. There's a method to the madness, it's showing something I can intuit, but can't point a finger at and say there... Just keep the faith. Remember, infiltration and subversion aren't the exclusive tools of the darkside...

When the Black Swan flies, something tells me it will have everything to do with Paul. They won't be able to hide it because they'll set the stage and pump up the volume. Again, won't "explain" because it's a gut feeling/vision I keep feeling, but it's fleeting. I think if I do know, if the pattern is telling me what I think it is... well, it would be like me to hide it in it's entirety to keep me from spoiling it for all of us, lol. Or not.

Could just be my wild imagination... or that I'm so needing the world to wake up I'm projecting my dream out. Or I could just be wishful thinking. Or I could be right. But who cares why in the end, eh? It's not about being right or wrong, but the journey that took you there. That takes me there. :)

He's proving the point. He IS a traditional Republican if you take the partisan bullshit of the past 50 or so years out of the equation. He's the only real republican running... and he's alienated from the party. He started the Tea Party, yet now it's in the hands of slack jawed yokels who know nothing about Republicanism, Liberalism or any ism that the MSM defines in a contradictory fashion.

Like a few months ago, Tim's dad... bless his heart, lol. I detest him in many ways, but I do adore him in many more. He's a product of the Boomer policies... So we're talking Social Security and hating on socialism in the same breath. I casually mention that SS is socialist in nature... and he was up in my face arguing like I killed his sacred chao. I'm good at that, lmao.

So I took the emotion out by saying, I'm not suggesting that SS is a bad thing. It helps many, sooo many people depend on it and it is what it is. But admit it's socialist. It says so on the box. Poor thing was so confused, but I'll say this... he thought about it and fought back the knee jerk reaction because he knows me, knows I'm not out to take his benefits, that I'm educated enough to know my way around a thing before I brought it up. So he says, so what do we do?

I was shocked... Now I'm 39. I'm still a "kid" to the Boomers since that's my parents generation. But here's the thing... they know our hearts. They might not trust the younger people, but those of us pushing 40 now? We've earned a little clout because all the things we told them would happen in the 90s came to pass.

Jobs? They were plentiful then, but fleeting, easy come, easy go. The Boomers once thought that was our fault... then it came for them. His plant, union (of course!), began hiring temps and treating them like shit. He was making 60 grand a year with full bennies and they're getting $9 an hour out of college, temporary... like a try out. They'd can them right before the time came to hire them. Of course he defended the union then... I can't blame him, he had a fucking sweet deal. That was the denial stage, nothing was wrong because it wasn't happening to him.

Nafta? Unions convinced them it was awesome, but then guess where his plant went and who got an early retirement package? I remember saying to him once when Tim had gotten one of those mcjobs they'd never hire him and he just shook his head sadly. I remember asking many Boomers around that time frame who was going to buy the things they made if younger workers made a pittance. Who'd buy all the Walmart crap made in Mexico and China when all the jobs went to Mexico and China. He reminded me, said I'd called it. He apologized and I asked him why... he said because he didn't know, he didn't understand. But now he does.

Before all that, he'd thought I was nuts when I pulled out my 401K and quit my quite awesome (for here!) local gig to start my own business. He railed at me for two weeks... but I told him look, if I hadn't quit when I had, I'd have lost my 401K, quitting and pulling it, taking the hit, only way to save my 15,000. He apologized when the stock bottomed two weeks after and went from 60 per share to .60 per share. He wrote it off a fluke, but still took a small amount of advice from me then... it didn't make him money, but it saved part of Tim's mom's pension. He asks me why I don't do the stock thing since I'd made a chunk just by manipulating my 401K back in the day... and I'm truthful. It feels dirty. Making money on a market that's not free, that's rife with corruption and manipulation makes me complicit in it's continuation. I'd rather have my soul than give it to Mammon... not a very wise choice in the world we're in, but a wise choice for me.

I could have been a gambler, addicted to the rush of the flush, but never thinking of the loss that was my gain. I'm not cut out for casinos... maybe a quiet poker game in the back, but I won't seek the ruin of someone's livelihood to fuel decadence and luxury. It just doesn't feel "right for me". No judgment on those who do, not just saying that... my ideals are my own, that's my door of the law (just gotta toss in a little Kafka here, lol, remind you I'm smart, hehe). I won't force them or use my standards to say another should do this or that. Maybe that's why Libertarian's don't get ahead... we never met an issue we'd force... except freedom and free will.

My point, rambling though it is... change begins with us explaining our positions to the young, to the old. It's nice to live in a bubble of people who share your views... who'll mentally masturbate with you. But to go out and educate a friend, a family member, to make them really think instead of taking the word of someone in authority? That's the important thing in the NOW. What good does it do to snicker at the poor dumb sheep if you're in the same damned pasture as they are? Be a black sheep, go in stealth mode. Be a goat, chew a hole through the fence. Just saying, lol.

I saw 8 people over the two hours spent this afternoon...the first was a single woman jogging...the second was a group of five young girls heading out the path as I was arriving...the third set was a couple on bikes heading towards the beach as I was making my return on the path...they were laughing and bursting with young love, I smiled inside and out and as we passed commented what a day...she replied with a slightly British or Irish accent yes lovely...he smiled, nodded his head and said hello...
