I feel there's much confusion involved in our actual history due to changing national names, not looking at the "big picture". Our history seems to begin in one small region, pretty much equivalent to the areas we now travel state to state. Legends, myths blending as our ancestors traded along the silk road. Add to that the Abrahmaic twist put on most things, assuming they're the true and only progntinters because that's what the prevailing Biblical mythology wants us to believe. But it was a small world then, just as it's a small world now.

And why do we ignore the other deluge myths and say Noah's and his kin were the only survivors? Is it because we're conditioned to accept that as truth or because we're afraid of what we'll find when we dig a bit deeper? Who loses what if no one's "chosen"?
