Ok, let's posit an imaginary hierarchy called the Eluminaughty. It begins with good intentions, to unify all under one blanket. This creates a counter-hierarchy, call it the Oluminaughty, for those who don't like the way the Eluminaughty does things. I have no direct evidence the world is older than 40 years, lmao. Now I'm not saying it's not, mind you... just saying we have no idea what really happened in the past since even with the advent of the written word, the ability and motivation to spin facts existed then as it does now. Look at Ovid. We have "history" with no clear view on how "historical" it actually is, you know? It's all hints and allegations, little substance that's not been filtered by the church and state.
