there is no reference to heat or sound so it "engraved" silently

today we call that femto laser technology
we use it from eye surgery to bonding/cutting metals without heat to harm the eye or alter the composition of the metal

it works because the velocity of the lasers pulse forms the cut/bond before heat has time to occur

From reading about it, sounds like a laser. Wiki says the ark of the covenant was plated in gold, I don't think it says lead though. I wonder how it became inactive. To me it sounds like the tesla death ray!

Of the many accounts told over hundreds of years from various individuals, not one mention of Pyramids anywhere? These mega structures would have been smack in the middle of these times. There's even an account of God destroying Egypt completely, yet the Pyramids still stand today? Am I missing something?
