School in a trailer home?!

I never understood how people in flordia could rent those places to live. I mean they are the first to get evacuated! Living in FL was no joke. Always had to have stocked up water and food. Plus I tried saving money for a generator...cause I went days without power during a few hurricanes. That didn't happen...they are so expensive! I finally said fuck it and moved back home to ny lol Between dealing with the weather and crime...no thank you...it was too much...

yah here you will see a big school and all in the back are trailer buildings... extra rooms for the kids..

I think its a dumb idea since that would be the first to go in a big hurricane

yah and when we first came here we drove by the school my son was going to go to and he freaked
hes like come on now my school is PINK!!!!

we came from up north schools are not painted PINK its a florida thang... I guess...

the more south you go from where I am the more colors there are lol
like going to the keys

someday I think florida will be all under water...

I had a dream about that long long ago...
saw the whole state all gone...no green no other color..
just looked like sand like skin?
but looked alive was the weird part

it looked very alive in a strange way like if you fell and skinned your knee that kind of alive

was a very strange dream...

I think it's as simple as that. The excessive moisture allows for better connectivity to your local environment so that any incoming information you receive gets utilized by you more clearly and efficiently than if you were in a more arid environment.

 Quoting: BOWMAN

local environment eh?

incoming information??

what information have you gotten

post it..

HAHA!

We are electro-chemical beings that exist within a planetary field. Obviously water being an excellent conductor is going to assist with any kind of communicative transfer between the two fields.

But it's usually very personal stuff, so I will not share it. neener

 Quoting: BOWMAN

Pure water contains equal numbers of H ions and OH ions. Less than one atom per million is ionized, so it is a poor conductor.

Water makes charge 'fuzzy'. Indeterminate

That's true. Sometimes I'll need to add salt in order to get an electrically generated steam humidifier to function properly. Even with Cambridge MA water which is notoriously hard water. chuckle

But I know that it's more a humidity factor than it is just the water, as far as 'the shower effect' is concerned.

That is so stupid. Yeah I hear ya...Florida is a very colorful state. I have never been to the keys...always wanting to go though.

That dream is strange...but not far fetched at all. I have thought about it before. Florida is super flat so it makes sense. If you have any more dreams about that just pay attention. I have also had dreams about cities being underwater. Huge building being underwater... hmm

Glad your safe:)
Wonder why they don't have any canal systems in place? Especially since Florida is prone to hurricanes....Makes no sense.....Then again I'm a person who likes to be prepared. lol
 Quoting: Blue Skies

here is a better question

why do kids go to school in a trailer home?

hello fucking hurricane state!

guess all that fucking lotto money the state gets it can only afford a fucking trailer..

for real there will be a big arse cement building the school and next to it trailer homes... too many kids...
instead of building off the school they buy more crap trailer homes
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18601807

I didn't know that....I assumed schools in Florida would be like every other state. Huge cement block buildings. Then again their have been a few tornadoes that have had no problem taking down those walls.
Have to ask....Do you have plywood ready to put on your windows if necessary? I mean cut to size for each window. Stored in your garage. Or even the hurricane shutters on your house. Never ceases to amaze me, that people still have to make trips to home depot before every hurricane. Shouldn't you already have this stuff on hand.
I mean here. We have everything ready to go before winter.

I think you mean the store bought ones.

The commercial ones we install and service run at a higher voltage and don't necessarily need the salt in the generator. Usually the water is hard enough that it doesn't need it. If it does there will usually be a prompt on the interface telling you that a low conductivity condition exists. But that's only on initial startups. After that it's usually all good.

the lines for the gas were miles long and by the time you got to the front to buy gas they would only allow you to buy 5 bucks worth (and today that would get you about a gallon) that would be used in about an hour. im guessing

im talking you would be in line allllllllllllll day for gas

some of our neighbor's drove way north and bought supplies

like batteries and food and gas and ICE

all those things were very hard to find
we named those people the Saint Steven and Melisa LOl
then we had the coffee angels across the street LOL

they were the only people who had hot coffee

another thing that all Florida peeps depended on was battery operated TVs you know those little ones you take camping with
then they passed a bill or what ever everyone go digital..

this means all these little battery operated TVs will NOT work unless you go out and buy new ones they run about 100.00 to 200.00 bucks..

fuck that ill stick with a battery operated shower radio to get my news LOL
cell phones still worked if you could charge them

and regular house phones with no plug worked too
if you notice all companies now want you to take your home phone and make that digital too

during Wilma I was the only nut job who had old time phones...
stored in my garage...

I refuse to give up my phone line and go digital

If I was you I would by about ten 5 gallon gas cans, fill and store them through hurricane season. Then use in your cars after its over. Repeat this every hurricane season. Should last you awhile.
Just keep extra food on hand. Water you can just store empty containers and fill with water just before the storm.
Even here when we are due to get storms people make a run for the store and stock up on supplies. Never to the extent of buying the store out. Like you see in NYC or state just south. I think most people here are pretty much set......I did once a few years ago have to give a person in front of me some money to by batteries. It was the one thing she hadn't thought about. Also hadn't thought about keeping extra money on hand......I do realize some cant afford to do this. She looked like she could. lol
I'm sure you know most of this.....Doesn't hurt to repeat once in awhile :)

Re: Marko Rodin - Smart Lazer Technology
I don't shower, I soak in my big-ass tub. I'll deny myself any other luxury, but don't take my big-ass tub, lmao. I love it super hot, then slide in and soak. It's meditation without the hard work. I don't have ideas there, but things connect up, I suspect it is the extreme relaxation minus the stress of thinking too hard.

Not everything is about sex, you know? Why make something dirty when it isn't? Innuendo is fun and playful. But blatant and vulgar? Not so much. But whatever, will say that's a funny video, but completely unrelated to water and the experience we were speaking of.
