That was my first book on astrology too and like yours, mine is practically in pieces- held together by a rubber band!

My favorite story in that book re: Aries women went something like this...

An Aries female had been going through a really rough patch in life.

Her husband had been laid off, the bills were past due, the puppy had just chewed up the carpet, etc, etc, etc.

The woman went to an astrologer who told her,

"I see a very black cloud over your life."

The Aries gal answered, "Oh no. When?!"

We are optimistic after all.

Which is kind of interesting since we're talking about this on a "doom" forum.

I like Linda Goodman's "Sun Signs," but her "Love Signs" seems to paint every possible relationship as working out between every sun sign. Doesn't work that way.


Simple Sun signs are facile, like the tripe you read in a supermarket rag.

Astrology, applied to the individual person, is almost infintely deeper ...
