No phone, no computer, no TV, in order to inforce this bluff (because i doubt you would do it) with legal action file the papers request copies then cancel the legal the action day. She won't check for the legal action but the papers will be more than enough to scare here. Unless you small claim court in your are is very fast nothing should happen in one day expect the ablity to get proof of the suit. After that take her to a libary tell her for every book she reads and right up a 10 page report, she gets 1 week of WoW. Make the books change subjects in order to prevent B.S.ing on the reports. read the reports probley should check spark notes or someother summary site to make sure the report has some decent content. I would prefer if the first book was 1984. Do not allot full acess to every thing till after 10-12 reports however with each GOOD report let her have a little more. So she become acclamted to it slowly however still while reading the books Make them good books too! The point of this exercise is to get the person to balance books and all that media crap. How do I know this works? Well it happen to me and set me straight! |

WoW has destroyed a lot of lives, she is by no means the only one. Best you can hope for is some kind of "awakening" on your daughter's part. She may eventually tire of it (and him) but the question is whether she'll be in any position to help herself when that time comes. |

She told me I was a loser as well as her younger siblings. I feel like I never had a daughter. I love my dautgher, unconditionally. I was a stay at home mom all her life, I home-schooled her, I was a hockey mom, I threw outrageous birthday parties. What did I do wrong? I just saw a show on current tv about being addicted to online gaming such as this.It shocked me. iT is an escape and a real addiction. I guess unless she has to earn money why would she get off the game? These people live in their own world and it even showed on TV how some get married on that WOW game. It's just going too far, there has to be a balance. It also showed how some people made it out of the game ok and have a normal life now. |

If she moved out, make sure you are not providing car, or car insurance, or anything for her. If she wants something, she will have to show that she is trying to get a job, or is working part time before you help her financially. Make sure she knows she and her boyfriend is always welcome for dinner. This will allow an open communication window. Don't give them money. I always told my sons (when they were teenagers) they could move in with their wives but not their girlfriends. Good luck and don't be too hard on her. She isn't doing drugs, and she isn't hurting anyone. She is just trying to find her own way. |

The legalese repeatedly states they're free of responsibility in every which way, shape and form. I think its only a matter of time before something crops up to challenge that company in response to the growing number of cases to where life and limb are associated. To know about how many young parents there are out there that are completely neglecting their small children and infants over this game just so they can be raid ready. It preys upon and exploits character flaws to the point where it induces mental illnesses and personality disorders in all flavors. It has the same effect a hard case of heroin addiction has on its weary victims. |
