Anonymous Coward User ID: 1158874 United States 01/03/2011 02:28 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | this is bonifide kurazy. i want to know what caused this! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1004494The thread title is extremely misleading. Yeah, Beebe is North of the Louisiana border, in the same sense that Minnesota is north of the Louisiana border. Beebe, Arkansas is NOWHERE NEAR the Louisiana border. I only clicked on the damned thread because I thought it must be referring to an entirely new bird incident. OP fails. |

OP fails. well, i knew of the original story. i don't care about the location so much as the facts. 1,000's of birds fell from the sky dead over a very small geological radius. and, it just happened a couple days ago. big story, imho that seems to have been understated originally in terms of numbers. regardless of semantics, what the hell happened to the birds? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1205572 United States 01/03/2011 02:40 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | the birds must have flown into a methane cloud released by a local earthquake in the area. That's a much more plausible explanation in comparison to what i've heard. The officials think it may have been due to the fireworks on new years eve, stressing the birds. that sir, is ridiculous. |

That would make sense, the methane could also kill the fish. Any other ideas? |

Surely, methane would affect ALL of the fish vs. strictly drum fish. |
