A timeline of the events would be ideal to map out events.

There was an earthquake in Ohio in June and Indiana Dec. 30 during 2010. These are rare.

One possible answer for the dead birds that I haven't heard, but have been posting is the open air burn or incineration of mustard and nerve gas agents at the Pine Bluff Chemical Weapons Arsenal 57 miles from Beebe.
The Army has been "cleaning up" for 2 years and just six weeks ago announced they were done. Except with other hazardous waste. It is possible that something went wrong or the Army wanted to test the chemicals on animals. We have seen animals in three states, but think about what we haven't found. Those birds landed in populous areas, not in nature.
There could be thousands of more dead animals out in nature w/o us knowing.

Food for thought

Grace be with you.

i think you are on to something...

too much of a coincidence

The Pine Bluff Arsenal (PBA) is a US Army installation located in Jefferson County, Arkansas, just northwest of the city of Pine Bluff. PBA is one of the six Army installations in the United States that store chemical weapons

Downwind from Arkansas??

It is no coincidence that Pine Bluff Chemical Weapons Arsenal is 57 miles southwest of where this flock of 2,000 birds mysteriously dropped from the sky. Surface level winds as well as winds at 3,000 feet were blowing from the southwest to the northeast, precisely in a straight line from Pine Bluff Arsenal to the town of Beebe, AR where this happened. 6 weeks ago, the Army reported to the media that they had completed a 2 year project of burning nerve and mustard gas agents in an open air incinerator, however toxic waste disposal is expected to take until 2013. Until 6 weeks ago, this facility held 12% of all the chemical weapons possessed by the United States.

Is it possible that something went wrong or was accidentally released during the final stages of the cleanup process?

That explanation seems a lot more likely than the one being given by the media that 2,000 birds were scared to death by fireworks. If that was the case, then millions of birds would be dropping dead in every city across the United States every July 4th or New Years.

Not a good analysis, in my opinion. If there were emissions released from the arsenal, the entire plume would be full of dead birds, and it is questionable if emissions could reach Beebe in deadly concentrations. Are there dead birds around the arsenal, or anywhere else between the arsenal and Beebe? And how do you explain the multiple blunt traumas to the birds' bodies? You really cannot say with complete certainty that this is NOT a coincidence. I belive that is probably what it is... a coincidence.

People are taking their own concerns (whether it be the arsenal, nuclear plant, drilling, aliens, demons, etc.) and trying to construct theories around what they already believe.

I believe the best answers will be found by starting with the birds, and going out from there.

One thing I am wondering about is how much trauma a bird could have from falling and hitting the ground. It seems it would cause at least some trauma, but probably not multiple traumas. Will expert scientists be able to tell if the birds were dead before hitting the ground?

Take a look at the shape of the New Madrid system as per 1895 quake:

[link to preparednesspro.files.wordpress.com]

It seems that New Madrid is centered over the Mississippi fork BUT there may be a North Westerly fault too that effectively makes the shape of the entire system the same as the Mississippi river.

If the recent events are mapped out over this image, they fit nicely apart from the one in the South.... which could suggest that the fault not only extends to the mouth of the Mississippi, but that this fault could be opening up.

If this is correct, then more stuff will happen soon & it won't be just a few dead birds!

What do people think?

Wouldn't you see the dead bird problem in Pine Bluff, White Hall, Redfield, Little Rock, or in any other towns between Pine Bluff and Beebe?
