Great thread! This is why I come to GLP, to hear new ideas that I haven't thought of yet, give them some thought, propose my own ideas etc. I have loved science, thinking, etc. since I was a little kid and appreciate all of your interesting comments.

Is there any chance a big EQ in that general location could have a causal relationship with any kind of bad situation around the caldera in yellowstone, etc.?

I'm tired and I would do the research but I'm interested in what others have to say about it.
