Here is the effects of radiation on a humans.

Below 100 rems
No obvious sickness occurs. There might be a fluctuation in white blood cell count, and may cause temporary male sterility.

100-200 rems
Mild symptoms occur. Blood and sperm forming tissues are affected. Mild nausea and vomiting might occur. Temporary male sterility. Loss of appetite, fatigue might last up to 4 weeks.

200-400 rems
Illness becomes increasingly severe, and significant mortality sets in. Onset of initial symptoms occur 1-6 hours and last 1-2 days. Nausea is universal and vomiting is 50% at 280 rems. After this a 7-14 day latency period sets in. Initial symptoms reoccur and also might include hair loss, fatigue, hemorrhage of the mouth, kidney. Susceptibility to infection is serious. At 300 rems the possibility of mortality without medical treatment increases to 10%. Possibility of permanent female sterility appears. Recovery takes around a month.

400-600 rems
Mortality rises steeply, from around 50% at 450 rems to 90% at 600 unless there is medical intervention. The symptoms listed for 200-400 rems increase in occurrence and severity, reaching 100% occurrence at 600 rems. When death occurs, it is usually 2-12 weeks after exposure and results from infection and hemorrhage. Recovery takes several months to a year, blood cell counts may take even longer to return to normal. Female sterility becomes probable.

600-1000 rems
Survival depends on stringent medical intervention. Bone marrow is almost completely destroyed and will require a transfusion of the bone marrow. Death usually follows 1-4 weeks from infection and internal bleeding. The recovery might never completely happen and if it does will take years.

Above 1000
Above 1000 will cause severe intestinal and metabolic problems which include severe diarrhea, intestinal bleeding, and loss of fluids. Death will follow in a few hours from circulatory collapse.
From 1000-5000 the onset time drops from 30 minutes to 5 minutes. Following the initial severe nausia a period of apparent well-being will last a few hours to a few days often called the walking ghost phase. The terminal phase will last 2-10 days. In rapid succession prostration, diarrhea, anorexia, and fever follow. Death is certain, often preceded by delirium and coma. Medical treatment is only to relieve suffering.
Above 5000 rems metabolic disruption is severe enough to interfere with the nervous system. Immediate disorientation and coma will result, onset is within seconds to minutes. Convulsions occur which may be controlled with sedation. Victim may linger for up to 48 hours before dying.
The U.S. military assumes that 8000 rads of fast neutron radiation (from a neutron bomb) will immediately and permanently incapacitate a person.

*These values are from exterior absorption. Interior would be 70% of these values to produce the same effect.

In Chernobyl the survival rates of the people in the 400-1000 rems range was actually higher then what was given above.

To put in in perspective the average human receives 360 millirem (.360 rems) a year of radiation from naturally occurring isotopes.

Radiation has other effects. It can cause mutations. These mutations can either be somatic mutations (not inherited) or genetic mutations which are in reproductive cells and thus the mutations are passed on to offspring. Radiation also has long term effects on human health. It has been linked to leukemia, bone, lung, and breast cancer. It was thought at one time that radiation would cause nonspecific life shortening. There has been no evidence to suggest this anymore though.

Hi OP once4all:just wanted to say thank you and god bless you for all that you have shared with us.

I started to read this thread when it began it then fizzled out. After the Japan quake it picked right back up again.

I read all the pages and I can see GOD is directing your path..

I wish I could say the same for myself, I don't know where my faith and love has gone for christ??

This is selfish for me to ask for prayer, but I want my full relationship back with christ and finding more and more difficult by the day to do.

I have drifted so far and losing my emotional connection...

What has happened to me? I love the Lord with all my heart and soul and care about the people around me. God gave a gift of compassion for my fellow man, where from I do not know, I did not always have compassion and forgiveness. God has found a way to instill this into my heart.

Sorry, did not mean to go on...I want to share a dream I had a couple weeks back.

In my dream a very thick and heavy, dark descending clouds were approaching me, as I watched them they were right over my head, then all of a sudden DEMONS DESCENDED out them....I mean thousands of them.

They flew out everywhere all over, seeing this in my dream and knowing the demons have been released all over America.

Scary, then another time, b/f I moved to Iowa from Florida, I had a sleep paralysis dream with a demon that looked much like a demon would in a horror movie with the distorted facial image, melting like face...she was laughin at me and mocking me..I sreamed for Jesus I was frozen momentarily, and kept praing un till i could get his name out Jesus, I pray in the name of Jesus release and let me go, in Jesus naem and finally it left. I woke up sobbing in fear.

What did I do, I could not understand fully what had happened and why it happened, except my SIN, wnhich I knew, would be the why!!

Sorry, to have taken your time from you, I needed to tell someone very close to God and I am ashamed for having lost so much of faith and love toward my father in heaven!!!

I do not have prophetic dreams I am a backslider and want out of this backslidden life, but I feel trapped in this crappy world. I want to let go and I can't do this w/o God's grace, love and forgiveness.

That dream was a sign and I had another, I was caught in an EMP storm, running for safety, with my family. I saw a man running from this powerfull electrical storm and then he was struck by lightning and died instantly..

I had a lot of your same problems.
I knew I had to get right with Jesus, but was struggleing with
teh little demon in my closet. How I loved my secret sin and he would come at my invatation, (shame on me) and then teh wall of protection would crumble.

I wanted free. someone suggested I fast 3 days. I fasted 2, water and fruit and fruit juice - homemade. It helpoed alot and now I am free from my besetting sin. ( in my mind.) Watch your thought life.

He comes back and knocks on my door and I say, resist the devil and he will flee from you. Eph 6. If we continue in the word, we will be his deciples indeed. And we shall know the truth, and the truth will set us free. In John 8.

These Words of Wisdom are coming true so quickly. I'm also wondering if this mess that we have involved ourselves in will be the start of WW3? I"m afraid that it might be true as China and Russia are condeming the strikes against Lybia now, and those are the 2 countries that I think will try to demolish the usa.

Also, this has ticked off alot of people, alot of articles about our president now too, he's made some enemies. I'm afraid something is coming soon and another of the prophecies might be fulfilled sooner then we think. I sure hope not!

I think Now refers to Libya and the Ring of Fire the groups joined to help with their liberation.

Financial equals change(s) and the panic quick change can cause. Faint heartedness.

Geological Infection perhaps represents quick changes within the caliphate regions (as a beginning) nations against nation. Opposed or leaning on, side by side, easier to topple dictators. We also feel these changes, being a nation.

Also maybe elements of the Golden Calf, Moses, Ten Commandments in the phrase Geological Infection. IMHO.
