I just finished reading Job... WoW....
this was a little something I wanted to share....

Two traveling angels

Two traveling angels stopped to spend the night
in the home of a wealthy family.


The family was rude and refused to let the angels
stay in the mansion's guest room.


Instead the angels were given a small space in
the cold basement.


As they made their bed on the hard floor, the
older angel saw a hole in the wall and repaired it.


When the younger angel asked why, the older angel
replied,


"Things aren't always what they seem."


The next night the pair came to rest at the house
of a very poor, but very hospitable farmer and his
wife.


After sharing what little food they had the couple
let the angels sleep in their bed where they could
have a good night's rest.


When the sun came up the next morning the angels
found the farmer and his wife in tears.


Their only cow, whose milk had been their sole
income, lay dead in the field.


The younger angel was infuriated and asked the
older angel how could you have let this happen?


The first man had everything, yet you helped him,
she accused.


The second family had little but was willing to
share everything, and you let the cow die.


"Things aren't always what they seem," the older
angel replied.


"When we stayed in the basement of the mansion, I
noticed there was gold stored in that hole in the
wall.


Since the owner was so obsessed with greed and
unwilling to share his good fortune, I sealed the
wall so he wouldn't find it."


"Then last night as we slept in the farmers bed,
the angel of death came for his wife. I gave him
the cow instead.


Things aren't always what they seem."


Sometimes that is exactly what happens when things
don't turn out the way they should. If you have
faith, you just need to trust that every out come
is always to your advantage. You just might not
know it until some time later...

and through this all there will be a spark of divine light that will keep on loving..

like a gentle caress..this love will cover all the earth and shield it from the forces of evil..because the words have been uttered and they say

"I Love"

because sadness suffering and pain didnt manage to turn this love out....the voice still called out and said

and still I LOVE

and this has saved the world

Yes, God's love is victorious.... and it always will be.

This morning I heard "season of preparation." I don't know if it is just for me individually or if it is a corporate thing.

There is no doubt that troubling times are ahead. I believe that God is strengthening each of us in His own way.

i believe this is a true Word from God. I believe it should be shared with the larger body of Christ.

God is telling many people the same thing.

Thanks. I am experiencing some major transition in my life right now and I know it is part of God's plan. Amazingly, I have a lot of peace over it though.

Yes, that is my life verse. I had also accepted Christ on 12/9 of 2002.

Thats strange.

"Season of preparation" reminds me of the story of 10 virgins in Matthew 7.

Matthew 25:1-13

"1Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. 6And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 7Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 9But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 10And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh."

I know it's so hard to have quiet time with the Lord with our busy lives, but we have to. I pray that the Lord grants everyone, including myself, the ability to use their time during this season wisely.

2cor129: I imagine after the Euro collapses, which some expect by the end of the year, Bernanke and others will try to pump more money into the system to prevent the same from happening here. I don't know. The next few weeks could be very interesting.

I am not as busy this week with work due to Christmas, but I am busy preparing for the it. We will be going down to MD to visit my family for several days.
