Im a California man which means a lot I have never seen birds flip out just because of a major earthquake

If animals get that psychic tune their lucky, but ive noticed most animals are totally obvious to earthquakes.

Why the hell would the birds die in a fashion that they've been beaten to death because an earthquake is coming?

Good point. Furthermore, if earthquakes or the stress built up before earthquakes occur kill birds, then there should be many more species dying besides blackbirds. The pigeons and sparrows and crows also should be dropping dead.

Except pigeons, sparrows and crows don't fly at night.

i personally would not believe the autopsy official explanation at face value. tptb have much to cover up right now, this could be one of them.

with that explanation of cause of death an easy line is drawn to hail. a little suspicious if you ask me. would the strongest birds not just be injured.... you see where i am going with this.

What difference does it make if the birds are flying or not? If they are dying because they are sensitive to the earthquakes or some energy generated by earthquakes then it makes no difference if they are flying or perched on a branch.

Yes it does. The birds pass out in flight and die upon impacting the ground. How badlt would your body be busted up if you fell 100 some feet unconscious?

Then the people in the subdivision the birds were flying over would have also keeled over from the methane, it would have had to come out of their yards.

A mysterious illness is threatening the bat population in North America, and so far it has killed more than 1 million of the creatures. The bat death rate from white nose syndrome is so severe that it could cause one species to vanish within 16 years, Science Magazine reported.

On Dec. 31, about 2,000 + red-winged blackbirds fell dead from the sky in central Arkansas. The birds, which had used a wooded area near Beebe, Ark., as a roost for the past several years, reportedly showed signs of physical trauma. Although illness and poisoning have been ruled out, the cause of death is still unknown.

Arkansas was also the site of a large fish die-off last week. Some 100,000 dead drum fish suddenly washed up on a 20-mile stretch of the Arkansas River near Ozark, CNN reported. Officials don't know what caused the die-off, but suspect disease or stress is to blame.
