I hate how that show Hoarders trys to make a disease and victims out of fucking slobs

I liked the one where the goat ate through the bedroom wall and there was a raccoon living in the piles of junk.

Its the same show over and over... having the mentally ill person go thru' each and every personal possession THEMSELVES to try to get 'em to throw something out!

They won't do it! They break down & want everybody to go home and leave them alone in their hovel.

you realize some horders are actually buried alive in their own filthy houses and end up dead for days before people dig them out? This happens.

At what? By the looks of their homes and the total crap they collect, they don't appear to DO much of anything except sit in front of the TV and eat.

part of what it is about is to get people to throw away or get rid of junk that could be useful in the future. they hate that the some people will actually have a lot of stuff to work with. they show homes with dirty dishes but it is the riddance of useful scraps and junk that they are trying to put into peoples minds.

DIY'ers know the value of lots of "stuff" and that stuff may look like junk to the sheep.

i saw the 2 shows last week or whenever it was and they werent that bad....i mean alot of the stuff was good stuff....they just had tons of stuff

but the 2 shows tonight....hell i only saw the last 10 mins of the lady with the animals.....these people had houses full of trash

the one house the water got turned off or somethin and the lady started crapping in plastic bags and just throwing them in the corner.....they couldnt even get upstairs

im the first one to admit im a lazy slob and my house is prety bad but these people have a problem.

its a pretty motivating show....i start cleanin every time it comes on

thats the category im in....im an artist and also a fix it guy....and everything is useful in my eyes

but theres a limit.

but im also in the lazy category.....always have been even as a kid....i usually have more trash around than stuff....but eventually i clean it up

and from the looks of these people they dont use much of that stuff....hell they cant find half of it

I'd like to see the show get tougher and tell these folks they are nasty and get off their butts and clean the damned house. Take them to see what a clean house looks like. They probably don't know what a clean home looks like. Those folks are so disgusting and I bet they smell very badly.
