All handgun ammo. This means any caliber that can be used on a handgun deined by the State of California. Also, it states that you can still buy ammo for your handgun. You are just limited to 50 rounds a month. |

That's only one box of ammo...you shoot more than that in a single session at the gun range! The reference I saw to "50 rounds" is the threshold requiring a vendor to be registered with the state as a licensed ammunition vendor (i.e., if you sell more than 50 rounds per month, then you must be registered with the state, which also entails further regulation compliance and bookkeeping by the vendor). |
