I am going to the ozark lock and dam. Off hwy 64. Northside It's about a 30 miles by road to Roseville taking 309 off hwy 23. but. Since you're going to the dam on 64, if you have a wild hair, continue S on hwy 64 to Altus, and a block or two before downtown Altus (!) turn right on Carbon Plant road (hwy 924?)(watch out for the cop parked under the bank awning). go south for 3-5 miles and carbon plant will be on right. Continue as road turns to dirt all the way to the river. The corn field ends at the river. YOu can get out and climb down to the river. Across the river is where 40/29 showed the dead fish at Roseville. I'd just like to know if there are dead fish on the N side of the river. Chuck |

He said he didn't see anything. Just sayn Each time a person stands for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he or she sends forth a tiny ripple of hope. And crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance. Few are willing to embrace the disapproval of their fellows, the censure of their colleagues, the wrath of their society. Moral courage is a rarer commodity than bravery in battle or great intelligence. Yet it is the one essential vital quality for those who seek to change a world that yields most painfully to change.
