Ebay, Amazon, and all of the buying and selling going on via internet must amount to billions of sales daily that are unreported and untaxed... Could it be that this underground economy has TPTB shitting their pants??? The Banks RUNNING SCARED!!!

thoughts... ???

I mean people even buy foodstuff over the internet... tax free! Is that why the announcement to turn over internet to Dept of Commerce today????

And to scare us away from the mail too!!!

Maybe sales from mainstream sources such as walmart and knart and others are sooooo poor as to destroy the economy due to so few taxes being collected. No one needs credit when you can buy a nice car on craigslist cheap.

If there is money involved, you can bet that someone, somewhere is looking to take a piece of the action. It's common sense.

I think ebay and amazon have a way to record and report sales etc to Uncle Sam. I could be wrong.

Now Craigs List and other barter situations - would be a good under the table sales sources.

Also - crafters and certain cottage industries - it would be super easy to have two sets of books.
Personal responsibility - try it sometime. Quit blaming others for your bad choices. Consequences happen.
