How much more violence is needed before people stop and say enough? Whatever incited this sick man to do what he did today is in the past. Ranting and raving and inciting yes inciting others to get angry to possibly seek revenge is not the way to go. Havent enough innocents suffered today?No one except the shooter knows why He did what he did. We might guess but we dont know. Our time might be better spent doing some random act of kindness today. Take time to think what if god forbid you lose a loved one in the next round of senseless violence. We need to stop and find ways to talk and get things done without sinking to namecalling accusing and when all else fails picking up a gun!
May god bless the families of the dead and wounded and may He also take time to bless the family, of that sick young man,with the strength they are going to need in the days to come and their whole world crumbles. Its not time for blame and accusations its time to heal and to help.

I can't believe this nut job would do such a thing, epecially shooting and killing a little 9 year old girl...and my prayers do indeed go to all of their families...but watch...I've noticed that Fox News was doing a special all night athon about this...and with the shootings and the letters from hell in D.C. and Maryland...something will go down on the american people...will try to take our guns away...ya' know a Federal Judge was shot too...and will have to go through the act of congress just to mail a letter...

Especially as the little girl was shot, thats going to create emotional reaction right there.

So say goodbye to your guns folks, all of them, and thats only the start.

They of course managed the same thing from the British public after the dunblane school killings, in fact the sheeple were so emotional about it they willingly handed in all their guns thinking it would solve the problem.

People in this country are angry. Politicians far left or far right are equally worthless, and we continue to divide more and more and see far left and far right idiots. They are all dangerous and people are starting to see them all for the self-serving, vile creatures that they are. All these things that are happening slowly but surely....the guy last year who flew his plane into the IRS building....the engineer a couple years back who shot his newly ex-wife and her entire family as well as the judge who abused his power and screwed him over in court when all he wanted was his dog....the shooting yesterday....all this stuff is politically initiated and will continue to happen more and more in this country until we make government smaller and stop the corrupted shitbag politicians and higher-ups who abuse their authority.

It's called ANARCHY, and you might as well get used to it!!! People are pissed off, and the abuse of power in government is the reason.

And now...of course...the big obligatory talk about "gun control" and blaming the tea party...BLA BLA BLA! Wake up and realize the real problem!! Jared Lee Loughner was a loyal fan of Sarah Palin, and shot Gabrielle Giffords.

Therefore, Sarah Palin is a white terrorist leader

I don't think it's going to be so easy for the elites in the case of Americans. The American people have an attitude towards guns that is unlike anything seen in the rest of the world.

To an American a gun is a good and useful invention, like electricity or the automobile (and just because people get electrocuted or die in car crashes, there is no outcry to shut down the power grid or go back to horse drawn carriages). That is the American attitude towards guns.

Then factor in the deeply ingrained American belief that gun ownership and freedom are practically one and the same, and you have a challenge along the lines of trying to climb Mount Everest without an oxygen tank for gun grabbers.

I recall during the Clinton administration a test run being done to see if a more potent anti-gun agenda could be pushed forward, and this resulted in the rapid end of several politicians' careers much to the surprise of the Clintons who were finally forced to admit that continuing to pursue the agenda was political suicide.

I do not see Americans willingly handing in all their guns regardless of the number of school shootings or mass killings that occur. It will take at least another generation of relentless propaganda for that to even begin to become a possibility.

Another thing making it unlikely is the breakneck speed at which the elites have been working lately. The types of changes that TPTB used to leisurely take decades to foist upon the populace are now occurring at a pace too fast for the people to ignore. Americans have reacted to this by purchasing record amounts of guns and ammo.

Perhaps the fact that Americans still retain their 2nd Amendment rights is why they have been so tolerant. Maybe they think that as long as they've got their guns, they can put a stop to the erosion of their freedoms whenever they feel like it. Whether this is a false sense of security remains to be seen.

So, Giffords was shot from behind. If she was running away, then she was not the first target. If she had been the intended target, wouldn't Jared have approached her from the front, if for no other reason than to make sure he had the right woman in his sights? Or to let her know who the agent of her impending death was?

Was someone else shot before Giffords? Like the judge? And if so, is this the reason that the video we presume was being made of her public appearance not been made public?
